Infected Blood Memorial Service – 19.05.26

May 19 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
There will be a national service at St. Paul’s Cathedral for the infected blood community on Tuesday 19th May 2026.

Over 1,300 people have registered their interest in attending the service and many of those people have already successfully booked their tickets.

However, we want to make absolutely sure that no one misses out if they registered their interest in attending. A few of the confirmation emails are occasionally landing in people’s ‘spam’ or ‘junk’ folders and some people have had trouble locating their email.

For those members asking questions about the service, a gentle reminder to:

  • Check you spam or junk email folders if you have registered but haven’t seen the confirmation yet.
  • Contact ibmemorialisation@cabinetoffice.gov.uk directly if you need any assistance or have any questions.
    • The service will take place at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Tuesday, 19 May 2026, at 11:00 am.
    • It is scheduled to take place on the eve of the 2 year anniversary of the Infected Blood Inquiry reporting.
    • Doors will open at 10am so that attendees have time to take their seats. The service will begin at 11am, and last for 1 hour.
    • The Cathedral will remain open for the attendees until 1pm.
    • There will be a private entrance for those not wishing to be filmed entering St Paul’s Cathedral.
    • For those not able to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed and recorded.
