Autosomal recessive

Autosomal recessive inheritance occurs when a child inherits two mutated genes, one from each parent, to express a genetic disorder. If both parents are carriers of the mutation, there is a 25% chance their child will be affected, a 50% chance the child will be a carrier, and a 25% chance the child will be unaffected.
